Clay sculpture and river drawing for all with Ellie Somerset.
Create a scene from terracotta clay to add to a frieze for Walkley. Inspired by the work of Benjamin Creswick, local internationally renowned Victorian sculptor and regular visitor to Ruskin's St George's Museum.
Add clay animals and people to a collective clay world.
Help draw the flow of huge charcoal drawing of the Rivelin river.
1 - 5pm: 3D DRAWING & PRINTING

Try your hand at drawing with 3D pens, and see how 3D printing works, with Candice Majewski from the University of Sheffield.

A two hour art and poetry walk along the Rivelin Valley led by visual artist Jason Thomson (creator of the Rivelin Chair sculpture in the valley), with poetry read by Fay Musselwhite. Suitable for adults and children age 10+. Children must be accompanied by adults.
All drawing materials will be provided.
An optional (free) taxi will be provided at the end of the walk for participants who would like a lift up to Walkley Community Centre on Fir St.
